Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 333

"Beep—"

The call disconnected.

At the busy tone, Julian narrowed his eyes, his gaze turning somber.

She dared hang up on him?

Bianca shrank back, defending Vivienne even as doom approached. "Julian, you probably don't know this, but the signal in the girls' restroom has always been terrible."

"Heh," Julian sneered coldly, releasing Bianca. "You girls are getting bolder every year. Fine. We'll see about that."

Meanwhile, over at Crown Hospital.

Mina walked out of the sample collection room, her heart a tangled mess of anxiety.

She had to be out of her mind to actually go through with a paternity test just because of some crazy woman's words.

Vivienne hung up the phone and turned to Mina. "Why the long face? Are the results out? Is that woman really your mom?"

Mina's wavering thoughts were instantly replaced by anger. "Are you for real? Since when do DNA results come back that fast? It takes five to seven business days."

Vivienne shot her a side-eye. "How would I know? I've never taken one. Can't you pay to expedite it?"

Mina suddenly looked guilty. "I didn't use my real name." Since she was doing this secretly, there was no way she would use the Blackthorne family name.

Vivienne suddenly had a bad feeling. "If you didn't register your info, why would they test it?"

Mina offered a rare, awkward smile. "Because I used your name."

Vivienne stared at her in silence.

Everything was progressing exactly as Vivienne had planned, so she feigned reluctance. "I don't have time for that. I'm not a Blackthorne. Whether it's true or false has nothing to do with me."

Seeing her resistance, Mina's stubbornness flared. "No way. You have to come. You have to be my witness."

Vivienne waved her off. "We'll see..." She paused mid-sentence, her gaze freezing on a figure in the distance.

"What is it?" Mina asked curiously, following her line of sight.

"Isn't that Aurelia Ravenshire? Why is she at the hospital?"

The teasing smirk on Vivienne's face faded.

Right. Why was she at the hospital? Even more coincidentally, Aurelia was walking into the exact white building she had just left.

She had just been there in her past life.
