Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 503

Julian wore an arrogant smirk, lazily tilting his head to the side as he raised a hand to catch the incoming projectile.

Sunglasses?

Trying to sneak-attack him?

His gaze turned predatory, his eyes narrowing as he looked up to see who exactly had a death wish.

"?"

In that single glance, all his reckless arrogance evaporated. Julian's expression shifted in a split second as he sprinted forward, carefully reaching out to support her.

"What are you doing here? Are you okay?"

Vivienne grabbed his arm. "You're so..."

Her face paled. She clamped a hand over her mouth and leaned against the Bumblebee Camaro. "Gag!"

"Vivi..." Julian suppressed his own nausea to rub her back, relieved to find she was only dry-heaving. He immediately sprinted back to his car for tissues.

Preston watched through the rearview mirror. After a moment of thought, he unbuckled his seatbelt, grabbed a bottle of water, and stepped out.

Julian instantly found a target for his frustration. "How the hell were you driving, Preston?"

Preston raised an eyebrow. "I should be asking you that. If your eyesight is failing, go see a doctor. You can't even recognize your own people, yet you're barking at me? With a stunt like that, if I had a worse temper, it wouldn't have mattered who was in the passenger seat."

Julian's face darkened, feeling a sudden knot in his chest.

He had realized earlier that the yellow Camaro was Kael's new car, and when he pulled up parallel, he saw Preston in the driver's seat. But the passenger had been wearing a hat and sunglasses, and in that split second, he hadn't gotten a clear look. That was why this whole mess happened.

Not talking back? Preston looked up, casting a meaningful glance at Vivienne.

"It seems The Official Princess of Stormhollow isn't just an empty title after all?"

"Gag—"

Vivienne dry-heaved while rolling her eyes. "Water."
