Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 729

Looking at it this way, she was absolutely winging it.

Feeling a guaranteed win, Amadis swiped his finger and cut the top wire.

Instantly, the countdown timer started ticking.

Bianca's face was dead serious as she gestured with her chin. "Second row, third from the bottom. The black one."

Amadis raised his hand to cut it, but she immediately added, "Leave that one alone. Cut all the others in that row."

...

Amadis froze, looking at her with hesitation. "Why?"

Bianca was just as confused. "What do you mean, why?"

How was she supposed to know? It was just a gut feeling.

Amadis instantly regretted asking. With a swift swipe, he severed the entire top row of wires. He fully expected the game to end right there in an explosion, but it didn't. The countdown kept ticking away.

"Hurry up, stop wasting time," Bianca urged when she saw him stall.

Overwhelmed by a mix of emotions he couldn't quite describe, Amadis kept swiping through the second row. When the entire circuit was reduced to just three wires, he was completely shell-shocked. He looked at the circuit board, then back at Bianca.

No way.

With a light tap of his two fingers, the final two wires were snipped.

Ding.

The timer stopped at 2:45. It had only taken fifteen seconds.

"Phew. That was close." Bianca let out a massive sigh of relief and beamed at the man in front of her. "I win."

Amadis stared blankly at the 'Success' screen, his brain completely short-circuiting.

Who was he? Where was he? What was he doing?

He finally turned to look at Bianca, his guard entirely up. "Do you use witchcraft? Is that how you killed him?"

"Him?" Bianca's expression shifted. "Who is 'he'? Did you kidnap me because of this person?"

Amadis stood up, shoving his hands in his pockets. "Spit it out. What's your third request?"
