Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 895

In the end, Caspian Ravenshire chose not to pursue Julian Ravenshire for beating up Kael Kenyon. Regardless of the circumstances, the three brothers had finally united to accomplish something together.

The next day, Leland Kenyon returned to Obsidian Estate. Caspian personally received him in Northwing Court. No one knew what terms the Ravenshire family offered, but the hospital assault was quietly dropped.

Half a month later, Military Headquarters issued individual commendations for Cyril and Alaric. For their outstanding performance in the face of national peril, they were awarded the Silver Cross and granted an exceptional promotion to one-star captains.

Such tangible military honors were incredibly rare in the high society of Stormhollow, drawing the intense envy of the other elite families.

With The Three Stooges back, the dark clouds hanging over Obsidian Estate abruptly cleared. The plum, orchid, and bamboo courtyards were finally lively again.

While Alaric and Cyril recovered at home, Aurelia and Bianca visited them every few days out of concern. But the other sister was like a rabbit that had finally escaped its cage, running wild outside with no thought of returning to her burrow. Forget visiting; she hadn't even bothered to make a phone call.

Though Alaric and Cyril showed nothing on their faces, an unnamed fire burned in their chests.

In October, when the plaques for their Silver Crosses arrived, Caspian specially called Alaric and Cyril to Northwing Court. The honors were not just a personal achievement but a reflection of the family's prestige. Caspian planned to pick an auspicious day to take the entire family back to Alderwick to pay their respects to their ancestors and honor their heritage.

The arrangements were finalized quickly, setting the return trip to Alderwick for mid-October.

The Everhart estate.

With things quiet in Stormhollow recently, the elder Mr. Everhart found himself with some rare free time. He lay back in a bamboo lounge chair, eyes closed in rest, holding a clay teapot.

Preston Everhart stepped out of the elevator, glanced toward the water pavilion, and turned to walk across the main hall.

Just as he crossed the threshold, Graham Everhart spoke in a slow drawl. "Preston."

Preston paused. After a moment of thought, he turned and walked into the pavilion. "Grandpa."

Graham slowly opened his eyes and propped himself up on the armrests. "What have you been so busy with lately? I barely see you around."

Preston poured himself a cup of tea and sat down. "What else would I be doing? You won't let me handle family matters right now, so I have to find some amusement to pass the time, don't I?"

Graham gave him a pointed look. "I heard you've been getting quite close to the Beaufort princess lately."
