Vivienne lifted her chin to refuse, but sensing her hesitation, Cyril voluntarily pulled back from the kiss. He nudged her jaw with his nose. "Is it sweet? I drank three glasses of orange juice before I came."
A fresh, sweet citrus scent lingered on her tongue. Feigning composure, Vivienne leaned against the headboard and looked down at him.
Cyril was already breathtakingly handsome, but after the kiss, he exuded an aggressive, seductive tension. His eyes, in particular, were dark with unrestrained desire—devastatingly gorgeous.
He really was a temptation like this.
She finally understood why wealthy women were so willing to throw their money at men. A man like Cyril could probably seduce someone into giving up their entire fortune.
But she was different!
She...
Reading the resistance in her eyes, Cyril pushed himself up. Wrapping an arm around her neck, he trailed his lips along her collarbone, his nose tracing the faint blue veins all the way up. Closing his eyes, he brushed aside her loose hair and pressed a searing kiss to her ear.
Vivienne couldn't stop the involuntary shudder that ran through her.
Cyril looked up, a thrill of excitement flashing in his irises. He shifted his weight, pressing closer against her shoulder, while the hand behind her neck slowly tangled into her hair.
His ear was hotter than his kiss, pressing against her cheek like molten lava.
What was going on?
The allure of their previous kisses had been manageable, so why was her entire body tingling with numbness now?!
Realizing she was losing control, Vivienne pressed her hands against Cyril's shoulders to push him away.
But Cyril seemed to misinterpret her intentions. He caught her hand and slipped it beneath the hem of his own shirt.
"Touch me here."
"Who wants to touch you?"
