Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 85

Just as the two were about to disappear from view, Cedric realized this wasn't right. He was about to give chase when Cyril stepped forward and blocked his path.

“Cedric, let them go.”

Cedric was still worried, his brow furrowed. “But Miss Bianca…”

Cyril glanced past him, his gaze crossing the courtyard to the two hands clasped tightly together. “If Bianca didn’t want to go, no one could have taken her.”

Cedric was taken aback. He realized that back in the main hall, both Frederick and Damien had tried to take Miss Bianca, and she had refused them both.

In the blink of an eye, the two figures vanished completely.

Cyril withdrew his gaze, a smile on his face. “Cedric, Grandpa still needs you here. I can get back on my own.”

Cedric came to his senses and found his opinion of the young man before him improving immensely. “Thank you, Mr. Cyril.”

Cyril shook his head. “Don’t mention it.”

After Serena and Isabella were kicked out, Vellmont Lodge was usually empty, aside from the cleaning staff that came in the morning. It was the perfect place to share secrets.

Vivienne took Bianca to Whitestone Lodge in the floral garden.

The furniture inside had been completely replaced, and the new pieces were even more exquisite and beautiful than before.

Bianca, still a child at heart, had been feeling moved, but the moment she stepped into Whitestone Lodge, her anger flared up again. “Grandpa really does like you the best.”

Vivienne let go of her hand and crossed her arms.

Bianca sniffled, her tone self-righteous. “Can’t I even be a little jealous?”

Her red, swollen eyes, combined with her rainbow-colored hair, made her look both comical and pitiful.

She was her mother, after all—someone she had once loved and had hopes for. That’s why, even though she knew Serena might harm the Ravenshire family, she had only given her a small punishment and kicked her out, so long as she hadn't caused any real damage yet.

If that was how she, with all her knowledge of the future, had reacted, how could she expect more from Bianca, who knew nothing?

Bianca was truly only twelve. She hadn’t been reborn, had no secret advantage. The choice she made was born purely from a desire to protect Talia that had triumphed over everything else.

Vivienne felt that a Bianca like that deserved a gold star.

“Bianca, do you remember the word I wrote on your palm before?”

Bianca nodded.

“Then let me tell you something else,” Vivienne said. “Adrian Markell was eventually elected the 72nd president of Athelvia in a razor-thin landslide.”
