Charlotte leaned back, exuding the haughty air of a wealthy socialite, and glanced at Cameron. "Are those guys of yours reliable? I don't want this blowing up in our faces and tracing back to us."
Cameron brushed off the concern. "So what if they talk? Once the humiliation is complete, do you really think the old man is going to alienate his own flesh and blood over some woman?"
"True," Chloe agreed, delicately setting down her coffee cup. "Dad cares about his pride more than anything. Once this scandal explodes, he'll kick that bitch to the curb so fast her head will spin."
Cameron stood up and adjusted his tie. "Let's go. It's time for our grand entrance."

Inside the banquet hall.
Kael set down his wine glass and prepared to stand.
Leland glanced up at him. "Where are you going?"
Kael pointed toward the exit. "Preston and the guys are partying next door. It's boring in here. I'm going to crash their room."
Leland had Kael late in life and spoiled him rotten, rarely denying him anything. "Go ahead. Just make sure you're back for dinner. Tonight is a big night for your uncle, and we need to keep up appearances for the family."
"Got it."
Preston was hosting a wild bash in a nearby suite. Kael gave the suite number, and the hostess immediately guided him down the VIP corridor.
"Let me go! I told you, I'm not a performer! I'm a guest at the banquet next door!"
Stepping out of the elevator, Kael was caught off guard by a woman’s frantic scream. He turned toward the noise, and before he could process what was happening, a disheveled figure threw herself at him.
"Help me! Please, you have to help me!"
The guards were already rushing over. One of them recognized Kael, freezing in his tracks and hesitating to step forward.
Kael frowned and pushed Isabella away. When he got a clear look at her face, his brow arched, and he cast a subtle, knowing glance at the guards.
