Claimed by the Crown Heir novel Chapter 71

Alistair Howard reached out to pull the woman into his arms, but grasped empty air.

He opened his sharp, predatory eyes; the little woman was already gone.

He habitually grabbed his phone and glanced at it.

On the screen was a message Vanessa Grant had sent half an hour ago.

Reading the contents, he let out a dark chuckle.

No wonder Vanessa had been so passionate and proactive last night; she just wanted to repay the favor and clear the slate.

This woman changed faces faster than turning a page, using him and tossing him aside without a second thought.

His phone rang suddenly. It was the main estate.

"Grandpa?"

"Are you back yet?"

"Just got back. Is something wrong?"

"I arranged for you to formally meet the Grant girl tomorrow night."

You haven't even officially met the person I picked out for you. How does that look?

Alistair understood instantly.

She had been in such a rush to cut ties with him because she was going to her arranged marriage meeting.

He just wondered what kind of spectacular expression she would make when she realized her fiancé was him.

"Got it."

He toyed with the phone, his gaze turning somber as he recalled her scorching heat and softness from the night before.

Nine o'clock, Grant Enterprises conference room.

The executives took their seats, the atmosphere heavy with tension.

George Grant surveyed the room, his tone flat but carrying an unquestionable authority.

"Starting today, Vanessa will serve as Vice President. Her words directly represent mine. I expect everyone's full cooperation."

The room instantly erupted in an uproar.
