Claimed by the Crown Heir novel Chapter 89

Alistair stepped out of the elevator. Quentin, who was waiting by the car, instantly opened the door for him.

As the Bentley pulled out of the parking structure, Quentin lowered his voice. "Mr. Howard, there was an incident at Pier 3 Warehouse."

Alistair's sharp, narrow eyes flicked upward, his gaze turning predatory. "What happened?"

"A sudden fire. Fortunately, we caught it in time and extinguished it before it could spread. The merchandise is untouched. I've already notified the team leader, and he's taken men to investigate the cause."

Hearing that, Alistair's posture relaxed slightly.

"Next time you pause like that while delivering news, pack your bags and go mine diamonds in Africa."

"If I go to Africa, who's going to protect you?" Quentin chuckled, quickly pivoting the conversation. "So... did you see Ms. Grant?"

Alistair thought of something, a faint smirk tugging at his lips. "What exactly are you trying to say?"

"I'm just curious how Ms. Grant will react when she actually sees you and finds out who you really are."

Honestly, he was quite curious himself.

His phone began to vibrate. Alistair glanced at the screen, his gaze darkening slightly.

"Mom?"

"I'm at the old manor. Come over immediately."

...

"Dad, I will not agree to Ace's marriage into the Grant family!"

Inside the grand living room of the Howard estate.

Eleanor Howard, flawlessly dressed in high couture, glared at Arthur Howard, who was leisurely sipping tea on the sofa. Her voice dripped with blatant disapproval.

She had just returned from vacation, only to discover that her son was going to honor the marriage arrangement with the very same Grant heiress who had left him at the altar three years ago.

"I've already given my word. Are you asking me to break it?"
