Julian was clumsy, and Quinn was innocent, but none of that mattered against the overwhelming force of biological need.

Quinn felt like she had been wandering in a desert for an eternity and had finally found an oasis.

Julian jolted back to his senses, his large hands on her slender waist. The cold water running over them quickly turned warm
His Adam’s apple bobbed again. His eyes were bloodshot, and his breathing was ragged.
The tub was overflowing.
He couldn’t think anymore. He grabbed her arms and forced her to sit down in the tub.
Quinn gasped, a moment of clarity breaking through the haze. The handsome face of the man was inches from heess.
It wasn’t Chase.
Her body was still burning. She unconsciously tore at the fabric on her chest. The thin bandeau finally gave wayfoating to the surface of the water.
Julian whipped his head to the side..
But Quinn called out his name, “Julian…”
All reason and all restraint vanished in an instant.
His hands were cold. Quinn, following her instincts, grabbed one and pressed it to her book
The sensation under his palm made Julian bite down so hard that he thought his teeth woods shatter. His shirt was soaked, clinging to the broad muscles of his chest.
The touch of his palm made Quinn let out a soft, contented sigh. She opened her eyess hebbeautiful gaze as soft and inviting as spring river.
Julian wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her hard against his chessées soft body slammed into him.
“Just hold on,” he rasped, his voice deeper and darker than ever
The words were for her, but it was he who needed to hold on.
Quinn was not in her right mind. She was under the influence of a dugdvverby instinct. Her actions were understandable.
But he was lucid. If he took advantage of her now, he would be no better that the predator he had saved her from. The kiss had already been a transgression. He couldn’t do more.

The volcanic heat in Julian’s eyes finally cooled. He stopped fighting himself. He grabbet & Treaty bath towel wrapped her up tightly like a swaddled baby, and left her to soak in the tub.
Quinn was trussed up, only her head free. She was incredibly uncomfortable but could move She forced her eyes open, and through a blur of tears, she saw the tall, handsome man who looked like a god.
The cold bath had helped, but the drug was still imiterssystem. The flush on her cheeks was still unnatural.
“Be quiet. Be good.”
Her sounds were too easy for a man to misinterpret. He didn’t want anyone else to hear them.
He covered her with another blanket before going to the door.
Zeke and a man in a doctor’s coat were standing outside.
“You come in,” Julian said and looked a Zake. “Send everyone home. Tell them I had an emergency. The party’s over.”
“Don’t worry, it’s all taken care of Zake said. “But Chase and Maddox…”
“Lock them up for now! ullam sad! deal with them later.”
He shut the door and turned to the doctor, demanding, “Go see to her.”
Gunnar had dealt with causes like this before. Zeke had explained the situation on the phone. He took out his IV kit and glanceÉ AT Julian:
“What do you need?” Julian asked. “An IV?”
