Chapter 301 Won’t Change My Mind
Jess couldn’t help but mutter, “Why would she want your junk?”

“Shut up!” Chase snapped, furious. “You don’t know anything about love! I love her. I don’t know what to do without her…”
“Look at what you’ve done before you talk like that,” Jess said. “I never knew what shameless meant until today.”
He turned to Quinn. “Quinn, let’s go. We’re not eating here. This place is bad luck.”
Quinn started to leave.
Chase stepped in front of her. “Quinn, you’re not leaving until you give me an answer.”
“She already told you she doesn’t like you and won’t give you a chance. Does she have to please you just to leave? Listen to yourself.”
Chase’s pride stung. He looked at Quinn, begging. “Quinn, please. Let me love you. Let me make up for what I did. Okay?”
“No,” Quinn said. “We’re over. Chase, stop being childish and unreasonable. I said it’s impossible, and I
mean it.”
“I can’t accept it,” Chase said, tears falling. “Quinn, don’t you believe me? I can prove it! A year, three years, ten years–I’ll show you my heart.”
Quinn just felt speechless.
Why has this man become like this?
Why does he think I can forgive him after he tried to hand me over to another man?
Does he think all the pain he caused me can just be wiped away?
He is always selfish, childish, and reckless.
If he’d ever put himself in my shoes, he would know I could never forgive him, let alone take him back.
But he only cares about his own feelings. He even forced me to give him a chance.
Quinn looked at him. “Why should I believe you? Why should I give you a chance? Chase, we’re over. Over, do you understand?”
“I don’t want to,” Chase said. “Quinn, I’ll transfer all my assets and my company shares to you. Okay? That’ll prove how sincere I am, right?”
“Do you even have the right to do that?”
A sudden voice made everyone freeze.

Chapter 301 Won’t Change My Mind
Quinn looked over sharply.
Julian stood there, tall and steady.
Though a bit weary from traveling, he looked neat and put–together.
He’d lost a little weight, making his features sharper. His eyes shone like stars in the night.
“Wow, it’s Mr. Sterling,” Jess whispered in surprise.
Chase stood there dumbfounded. “S–Seven?”
How could I have run into Julian here?
We met by chance last time, too, and Quinn left in Julian’s car.
Is it just luck again?
Julian’s gaze moved away from Quinn, controlled and calm.

He glanced at Chase. “Changing company shares requires board approval. You’re just making empty promises to fool her because you think she doesn’t know the rules.”
Chase’s face turned bright red.
He knew he couldn’t transfer shares that easily. He’d only said it to show his sincerity, not that he’d actually
do it.
Besides, even if he really wanted to, his father would
never
agree.
But who cared if it was realistic?
Julian did.
Quinn’s heart jumped with joy. She couldn’t help saying, “You’re back?”
