Divorce Him, Then Dazzle novel Chapter 13

The yacht was enormous—so big it didn’t feel like a boat at all, more like a floating private resort dressed in white and glass.

This wasn’t just any boat. It had two helicopter pads, stashed away a private submarine and a couple of speedboats, offered plush guest rooms and fancy restaurants... even an aquarium was built right in. Security was intense—discreet staff everywhere, cameras you could feel more than see, and rules that made it clear this wasn’t a place anyone could misbehave.

No surprise they called it a superyacht.

Staring in awe, Daniel's eyes practically sparkled. He leaned in, half-joking, half-dreaming. “How long do you think till I can get a yacht like this?”

Camilla nudged him, her voice light. “Come on, time to board.”

Getting on this yacht wasn’t simple. There were three rounds of security to get through just to step foot inside.

First up, you needed your invitation. No invite, no discussion. They’d have someone politely escort you back to the street, no matter who you were.

The second checkpoint was about the dress code—if you didn’t look like you belonged, you weren’t getting in.

Last, everyone had to hand over anything sharp, flammable, or explosive. Lighters too — just like on a plane or a train, they were not allowed.

Daniel blinked in confusion. “Wait... so, no smoking? At all?”

The staffer smiled. “That’s right, sir. The owner keeps the yacht smoke-free.”

Daniel silently cursed. This was unbelievable. Since when did parties ban smoking for the environment? Wasn’t that what these parties were for — to let loose a little? But then he remembered who was behind this event, and he shut his mouth fast. This was Lambert’s boat, and nobody would dare question Lambert’s rules.

Then Faust turned and his eyes landed on Daniel and the woman next to him.

The Whites had a sprawling family tree. Relatives popped up in every city, but Daniel was one of the few that actually stood out. Faust had met him a handful of times. But right now, it was the woman by Daniel’s side who caught his attention.

She wore a deep blue gown that looked simple at first glance, but the details were anything but plain. The off-the-shoulder cut highlighted her slim neck. Her hair was pinned up, drawing attention to her graceful posture and the smooth, pale skin of her neck and shoulders. The dress hugged her curves in all the right places, the kind of silhouette that was memorably perfect. Her waist was so delicate, it looked like you could almost wrap your hands around it.

Faust had met a lot of beautiful women in his life, but this one... seeing Camilla up close, he couldn’t help but pause. Her skin, in that dark blue dress, was so fair it seemed to glow. Her makeup was almost invisible, just enough to bring out features that were already close to flawless. She didn’t need jewelry or any over-the-top embellishments; she knew exactly how to stand out.

She stood there like she owned her space. No embarrassment, no arrogance, just serene confidence — steady, graceful, and totally unbothered by all the attention.
