Divorce Him, Then Dazzle novel Chapter 202

Camilla could tell Lambert was upset.

But it was the truth.

Given her drugged state on the yacht, how could anyone expect her to identify the man before kissing him?

For the rest of the drive, Lambert remained silent.

As they neared the university, Camilla spoke up. "Mr. White, you can just drop me off at the campus gate."

Outside vehicles weren't allowed on campus anyway.

Besides, she didn't want to inconvenience him further. She didn't have much luggage and could easily manage on her own.

She didn't even want him waiting outside the gates for her.

She added, "I don't have much stuff, I can handle it. You're a busy man, I won't take up any more of your time."

"You already have."

Camilla froze.

Lambert continued, "I said I'd come help you get your things, and now you want to send me back? How am I supposed to explain that to Catheleen?"

His tone was aloof and cold, reverting to his usual commanding, untouchable demeanor.

Camilla lowered her gaze. "Then I'm sorry for the trouble. Please just wait outside for a moment."

As she spoke, she realized the car was heading straight for the main gate.

The security barrier designed to stop outside vehicles lifted seamlessly.

Camilla couldn't help but look at Lambert.

He kept his eyes forward, silent.

How did his car get onto campus?

The driver politely asked, "Ms. Green, which way should we go?"

Camilla quickly provided directions, and they soon arrived at her dorm building.

During the New Year's holiday, the campus was practically deserted. The car pulled up right in front of her building.

Not daring to make any more suggestions, she said obediently, "Mr. White, I'll head up and grab my things."

She stepped out of the car, only to find Lambert stepping out as well.
