Divorce Him, Then Dazzle novel Chapter 213

"Who?" Lambert snapped out of his dark thoughts, his voice chillingly detached.

"Jeanette Clark," Faust said. "Old Man Clark's precious daughter."

"And?" Lambert asked.

"Wow, you really didn't hear a word I just said, did you?" Faust sighed. "She and Garrison's fiancée are coming here. Are you okay with that?"

"Are they looking for you?" Lambert shot a cold glare at Garrison. "If you have plans, you can leave."

"No..." Garrison stammered. "She's definitely not coming for me. She probably found out I was with you and wants to see you."

"So what? Does she need something?" Lambert's tone remained glacial.

"What could she possibly need?" Faust chuckled. "She just wants to see you, say hi, maybe chat."

"I don't know her," Lambert stated flatly. "I'm not seeing her."

The moment the words left his mouth, a soft, polite knock sounded on the VIP room door before it swung open.

Faust glanced at the entrance. "Too late."

Garrison's fiancée walked in, followed closely by Jeanette Clark. Garrison practically sprinted over to intercept his fiancée, pulling her to the side, but he didn't dare block Jeanette.

Jeanette walked straight toward Lambert.

"What a coincidence," Faust greeted her smoothly.

Jeanette's eyes were fixed entirely on Lambert before she briefly acknowledged Faust. "Not a coincidence at all. I heard you guys were here and came specifically to say hello."
