Camilla was still standing on her tiptoes. "Really?" "But I have a condition." "It's a video of me!" Camilla protested fiercely. "I have the right to demand you delete it!" "What, are you going to sue me?" Camilla instantly deflated. "Please... why would you even keep a video like that?" "Because... it's a fond memory." Lambert's voice dropped to a husky murmur. His deep, magnetic tone brushed against Camilla's ears, sending a shiver down her spine. Camilla's cheeks flared with fresh heat. "It really isn't..." "It is." Lambert stared right at her. "Look at how you act around me normally. Now, look at how you acted in the video." Camilla argued, "I was drunk, it's completely different!" "Drunk words are sober thoughts." Lambert arched a brow. "So don't your drunken actions represent what you truly want deep down?" "Of course not!" Camilla vehemently denied it. "How is that possible? I'm not some Lecher!" She absolutely did not have a habit of groping people! "But what you did to me, how is that any different from being a Lecher?" Lambert countered smoothly. "In any other era, I'd have no choice but to marry you to save my honor." Even Camilla's ears were burning scarlet now. She was practically blinking back tears. "What exactly do I have to do for you to delete it?" The mere thought of that video existing out in the world made her sick with embarrassment. She wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing he had it! "My condition is very simple." Camilla stared up at him, her large, expressive eyes wide and pleading. They shimmered with unshed tears, making them glisten under the light. Something inside Lambert's chest clenched tightly. His Adam's apple bobbed. Even her most innocent, unintentional gestures managed to stir the darkest, most primal desires within him. Seeing him fall silent and simply stare at her with a predatory gaze, Camilla couldn't help but prompt him. "What's the condition?" Lambert finally spoke. "The condition is, you can never lie to me again. If I don't catch you, fine. But if I do, you have to agree to whatever I ask of you, unconditionally." Camilla froze. Lambert leaned in. "Isn't it a simple condition? The fact that you're hesitating... does that mean you've already lied to me?" Camilla frantically shook her head, but then she realized that shaking her head was technically a lie too. She instantly clamped her mouth shut. After a moment of thought, she asked softly, "If it's a question I don't want to answer, can I just plead the fifth?" Lambert conceded, "If it makes you uncomfortable, you can remain silent." Camilla finally nodded. "Okay, I agree!" "It's a deal then." Lambert warned, "This time, backing out is not an option." "I won't back out," Camilla promised. "So hurry up and delete it! Not just from your phone, but the copy in your car too!" Truthfully, Lambert was incredibly reluctant to delete it. But a deal was a deal. Besides, there would definitely be other times when Camilla got drunk. He'd have plenty of opportunities to record new videos. He held the phone up in front of Camilla and deleted the file right before her eyes, wiping it completely from his device. "And the one in the car..." "The one in the car is already gone," Lambert assured her. "I made the copy myself. I'd never let anyone else see my Cammie like that." How was he so devastatingly smooth! Camilla turned her face away, unable to maintain eye contact for another second. Lambert remained in her personal space, his voice a low rumble. "Anything else you want to say?" Camilla just shook her head. "Good," Lambert said. "Now, let's discuss exactly how you're going to repay the rest of your debt."
