The only relationship Ayla ever had was a three-year marriage, but it felt more like one-sided love.
She had no experience with sweet couple moments.
When you buy things meant for couples, no matter what you get, you always think about the other half of
you.
This was the first time Ayla had ever felt this way.
“I really didn’t think of that.” After saying that, Ayla looked into his eyes and asked, “Mr. Storm, how do know this?” He had been single his whole life, with no experience.
Draven replied, “I haven’t been in it, but I’ve seen plenty.”
“Alright. I’ll go with you.”

Draven lifted his wrist and checked his watch. “It’s still early.” Then he looked at her and said, “Want to go to the supermarket together?”
Ayla said, “Okay!”
She asked, “Are you wearing that outfit?”
Draven gave a quiet yes.
“Then wait for me.”
Ayla went back home and chose a gray sports set as well. Before leaving, she picked up two face masks.
When she came out, Draven’s door was already shut. He stood leaning against it, waiting for her, holding his Rolls-Royce keys, his head lowered as he looked at his phone.
When he heard her steps, Draven looked up. “Let’s go.”
Ayla walked beside him in silence. Her face showed no emotion, but her heart felt very warm. Someone was waiting just to go grocery shopping with her. She didn’t carry anything, and he had already prepared everything. She didn’t need to worry about a thing.
In Trensea, Draven only had one Rolls-Royce and one Bentley. His other cars were probably in Zheron.
Draven drove, and Ayla sat in the front passenger seat. Once the door was closed and her seatbelt was on, he slowly drove off.
“I checked nearby supermarkets just now. We have many things to buy, so let’s go to a big one and get everything at once,” he said.
“Alright.” Ayla was about to look things up on her phone, but then she stopped. With Draven there, she didn’t need to worry.

It was the weekend, so the roads were a little busy. Still, there was no hurry. Soft music played in the car. She leaned back in her seat and relaxed, feeling completely at ease.
Draven glanced at her in the mirror, a small smile in his eyes, then focused on the road again. His hands stayed steady on the steering wheel.
Whenever she sat beside him, he drove even more carefully.
They arrived at a large supermarket that sold everything needed for daily life.
Before getting out, Ayla took off the masks. “Mr. Storm, should we wear these?”
His face drew too much attention. Ayla was sure that if he went out like this, someone would secretly take photos of him.
Draven looked at her and said, “Let’s wear them together.”
Ayla replied, “Okay.”
They put on white masks and stepped out of the car. Both were dressed in gray sweats. Draven was almost six-foot-two, and Ayla was about five-foot-eight. Even in flat shoes, they looked well-matched.
Even without seeing their faces, they stood out because of their height and presence.
Walking together, they caught every eye. Even with masks on, their good looks were not fully hidden.
Draven pushed a large shopping cart. Ayla stayed close beside him. Whenever she liked something, she simply put it straight into the cart.
For daily items, everything was taken in pairs, usually the same item in different colors.
She also chose several sets of lounge wear and pajamas.
But Draven said he had already contacted staff from luxury brands to custom-make many matching outfits for them, which would be delivered to the house. So Ayla didn’t buy too much.
After a while, they arrived at the flower section. An idea popped into her head. “Mr. Storm, stand right there.”
Draven spoke gently, “What is it?”
Ayla had already taken out her phone. “I want to take your picture.”
“A picture?” Draven asked.
“We’re a couple now. I can’t have my phone with no photos of you, can I?”
Otherwise, she wouldn’t have bothered changing clothes to come out.
Since they were shopping as a couple, she wanted to keep more memories.

Why is half of each of these chapters missing? The story sort of trails off in the middle of the chapter. That’s unfortunate....
