“Men aren’t as understanding as you think. You should be more careful about who you choose to date,” he said. Noticing her hair was still dripping wet from her shower, he took the towel from her hand and began drying it for her.

Lara froze. The gesture immediately made her think of when they were dating. Every time she came out after washing her hair, he would always dry it for her just like this.
