Don't Mess with the Girl with Candy novel Chapter 1320

"You, you, you..."

Luella scrambled backward, dragging the blanket up to cover herself.

The sky had fallen.

Her jacket was off, and all she had on underneath was her chest binder.

Was last night real, or a dream?

If it was a dream, why was Jimmie here?

Did he see her without her clothes on?

She was done for. She was so totally done for.

"Why are you here?" Luella stared at him, pale-faced, her voice trembling as she demanded an answer.

"You were drunk last night. You clung onto me and wouldn't let go, so I brought you back."

After staying awake all night, Jimmie had fully processed her true identity. Now, he was incredibly calm.

"You brought me back?" Luella swallowed hard, feeling extremely guilty. "You didn't take off my jacket, did you?"

"You threw up and ruined your clothes." Jimmie walked over holding a bowl of hangover soup. His deep gaze locked onto the panicked girl as he spoke unhurriedly. "I just wanted you to sleep more comfortably. I didn't expect you to be..."

"To be what?"

Luella threw off the blanket, snatched a brand-new suit jacket from the side, threw it over her shoulders, and strode toward the door. "Who gave you permission to undress me?"

Jimmie remained silent, obediently taking the scolding.

"Jimmie, you'd better forget everything you saw today." Luella buttoned up the jacket and glared fiercely at Jimmie, threatening coldly, "Otherwise, I'll kill you."

"Wait!"

Jimmie grabbed her wrist, his tone involuntarily softening. "Since you're a girl, why did you reject me?"

"Let go!"

"You clearly like me."

Jimmie refused to let go. After a twenty-hour flight and an entirely sleepless night, his eyes were terrifyingly red, and his voice was extremely hoarse.
