"When did I ever trample..." Kurt tried to explain, but suddenly realized what she meant.

He let out a soft laugh, his lips curving up. "Are you talking about the time I had dinner with that girl at the restaurant?"

Ebony Fox pursed her lips, staying silent.

"I did meet up with her, but it wasn't a date. I just wanted to make things clear."

Kurt explained patiently. "I told her that I already have someone I like, that I won't accept any blind dates arranged by my family, and that we shouldn't see each other again."

Ebony Fox looked at him again, trying to find any trace of a lie on his face.
