Don't Mess with the Girl with Candy novel Chapter 1682

The two men stared at each other—one smiling gently, the other hiding daggers behind his grin.

"Um."

The assistant scratched her nose and stepped between them with a polite smile. "Mr. Saxon, Mr. Schwartz, why don't you have a seat? Ebony Fox isn't here yet!"

"Alright."

Xavier nodded and took a seat on the sofa.

Kurt walked over and sat down right next to him.

All four eyes stayed glued to the entrance of the training area.

The assistant: Watching the drama unfold.

Before long.

Light footsteps approached the entrance, and Ebony Fox's silhouette appeared.

"Ebony Fox," the assistant bounced over, taking her bag. "The training floor is ready. We can start whenever."

"Thanks for the hard work," Ebony Fox gave her a warm smile, then her gaze landed on Kurt's face.

Her smile froze.

Looking past him, she spotted Xavier.

Her expression turned entirely cold.

"They both insisted on being in your group," the assistant whispered. "The other coaches are busy training other members. We couldn't arrange it any other way, so..."

Ebony Fox thought it over. Xavier had brought a lot of female clients with him.

There were only a few coaches available.

Assigning everyone was indeed a hassle.

Fine.

Since both of these high-maintenance guys were stuck with her, maybe she could drive them away by tomorrow.

"Who's first?"

Ebony Fox pulled out a hair tie, throwing her long hair into a tight ponytail. She adjusted her cargo pants, tucking her shirt in.

The entire sequence was fluid and effortlessly cool.

"I'll go first."

While Kurt was still busy drooling over her, Xavier stepped forward with a flattering smile.

Having his manhood repeatedly provoked was too much. Even if this was his future brother-in-law, Xavier didn't want to tolerate it anymore.

"Enough."

Ebony Fox's head was pounding from the noise. She spoke up, her face frosty, "If you want to argue, take it outside."

"We aren't arguing." Kurt slowly stood up, walking over to Ebony Fox with a bright smile. "Coach Ebony Fox, can we start now?"

Ebony Fox glared at him. Seeing his smug, punchable smile made her want to kick him.

She didn't just want to; she actually did it.

She just hadn't expected the jerk to have such fast reflexes—he actually dodged it.

"Coach Ebony Fox, I haven't been slacking off for the past six months I've been here," Kurt smiled triumphantly. "Well? I'm much better than a certain guy with stamina issues, right?"

Xavier: Are you even speaking English right now?

The assistant: Kurt's tongue is so toxic, poor Mr. Saxon, hahaha.

Ebony Fox frowned, displeased. "Stop talking nonsense."

"Mr. Saxon, did you hear that?" Kurt craned his neck, deliberately twisting her words. "Coach Ebony Fox says you are nonsense."
