"Aunt Monique, give it five minutes," Shanley spoke up to remind her. "We're in a foreign country; we have to abide by their regulations."

"Aren't we already stopped? Why won't you let me out?!"

Monique's eyes were completely swollen, her hair a mess, looking entirely unhinged.

"Open the door, hurry up and open the door!" she screamed, so agitated that even Hector couldn't hold her back.

"Monique, if you can't quiet down, you can stay on the plane and wait."

Shanley stood up, adjusting his tie, his deep voice carrying a chilling edge.

Shanley understood instantly and instructed, "Get a blanket for Ebony Fox."

"Right away."

As the attendant approached to wrap it around her, Ebony Fox finally spoke: "It's fine. I'm not cold."

"Put it on," Juniper said, looking at her. "It's freezing outside."

Ebony Fox hesitated for a moment but obediently pulled the blanket around herself.
