Sebastian's father let out a booming laugh. "They're young, it's good they share passions. They grew up together, so helping each other is a given. Besides, Sebastian is a man. He should be looking out for Isla."
Isla beamed. "He treats me wonderfully. We might have bickered a lot growing up, but that's just because we love to challenge each other."
"That's the spirit! A little friction keeps things interesting!" his father laughed.
Off to the side, Sebastian's mother was already hashing out wedding details with Isla's mom.
"Isla comes from a prestigious lineage like the Greenwood family, and with your impeccable upbringing, she's perfect in every way. I've had my eye on her for a long time. I just hope you don't think we're aiming too high," Sebastian's mother said, her words dripping with polished flattery.
Isla's mom couldn't stop smiling. "As long as the kids are happy, that's all that matters. We aren't some rigid, old-fashioned parents, after all."
The two families were already treating the marriage as a public, done deal.
Initially, Isla had been terrified Sebastian might cause a scene. His temper was notoriously volatile, and if he threw a fit tonight and publicly rejected the idea of marrying her, she would be humiliated beyond repair.
To her relief, he didn't snap. He simply stood there, his face devoid of any readable expression.
That was more than enough for her.
Feeling secure, Isla glided through the crowd, basking in the endless compliments.
Naturally, the sycophants asked about the recent online drama.
Isla flashed a haughty smile. "Honestly, I admire a disabled person's drive to get back up and dance. People need dreams, right? Just stepping back onto the stage is commendable enough, regardless of their actual skill level. But... plagiarism is truly despicable."

Isla maintained a serene smile. She didn't even need to defend herself; her disciples were eager to do it for her.

Ms. Brown faltered. It was true—she didn't have hard proof.
The girl pressed her advantage. "Well, we do. To be precise, this dance was co-created by Sebastian and Isla. We have the video footage of their creative process to prove it."
Desperate, Ms. Brown turned to Sebastian. This was her final sliver of hope. "Sebastian, tell them the truth. Was this dance really co-created by you and Isla? Not you and Emma?"
