Alec was left dumbstruck at Brody’s humble and respectful demeanor. “Brody…?”

Brody shot him a glare, “Are you blind or something? Can’t even recognize the CEO of the company!”

“The CEO?” Alec was baffled.

Cam also recognized Jonathan and greeted him politely, “What brings Mr. Lamont here?”

“My girlfriend was insulted and taken to the police station, so I came to check on her,” Jonathan said coldly, draping an arm over Estelle’s shoulder.

Estelle tensed up but didn’t dare to push him away in front of all these people, so she sucked it up and tried to stay calm.

The deputy chief asked the police officers on the scene, “What’s going on here?”

In a blink, the tables had turned. The cops were secretly relieved that they hadn’t said anything harsh to Jonathan and his crew earlier. They quickly explained the situation.

After hearing the story, Brody scolded Alec loudly, “That little girl is so young, how could your son push her off the slide? If it wasn’t for Ms. Macclain catching her, could you bear the responsibility if something happened to the kid?”
