Charlie glanced at the door, saying calmly, “No need, I’m all good now.”

“Call me if you need anything.” “Sure.” .

After hanging up, Charlie opened the door and looked across to the bedroom on the opposite side.

The house was designed in a way that a bathroom was between two bedrooms, so the master bedroom and the secondary bedroom faced each other with only a corridor in between.

Emily handed him a bathrobe with an awkward expression, “This is mine. It’s a bit loose, so it should fit you.”

Charlie took it, his eyebrows furrowing at the sight of the striking Hello Kitty pattern on the pale pink robe.

Emily quickly explained, “Kya loves Hello Kitty. She picked it out for me.”

Charlie seemed unusually tolerant towards Kya, his expression softening significantly.

Well, at least it’s wearable. After all, he obviously couldn’t put on the clothes he’d worn before his bath.

Then go take a shower first!” Emily suggested, “I’ve got toiletries ready for you in the bathroom. They’re all new.”

Charlie nodded, taking the pink Hello Kitty bathrobe and headed for the bathroom.

Emily returned to her room.

Closing the bathroom door behind him, Charlie stood there, looking at the small but neat and tidy bathroom. He didn’t feel a hint of disgust, instead, it felt rather cozy.

On the sink, there were toothbrush cups belonging to Emily and Kya, next to a brand new set prepared for him, even the towel and toothpaste were new.

Their things were placed side by side, and Charlie watched for a moment before picking up the toothbrush cup to brush his teeth.

After his shower, Charlie held the bathrobe in his hands, instinctively sniffing it. It indeed had her scent.

The bathrobe was indeed quite loose. It was a bit short, but it fit his upper body just fine.

Charlie stared at her flushed face and suddenly squinted, “Would you blush if it were another man?”

Emily was taken aback. Another man? If it were another man, she would have slapped him hard and then stepped on him!

Suddenly filled with regret and guilt, she pushed Charlie away and rushed back to her bedroom.

Later, Charlie was lying in the bed in the secondary bedroom.

The sheets and quilt were clean, carrying the fresh scent of laundry detergent mixed with a hint of Emily’s scent.

Although it was not a familiar scent, it didn’t repulse him. In fact, he quite liked it.

The sound of running water came from the adjacent bathroom. It was Emily taking a shower.
