“So what do you want me to do then? Emily but her lip, tears clinging to her long lashes, trembling but not falling, much like her stubbornness 

“Stop biting”” Charbe scolded in a low voice. “I just applied that, you know. If you keep biting, I’ll have to do it all over again” 

The orange red hue was playful yet soft, perfect for Emily. 

Suddenly, Charlie realized how much lipstick could enhance a person’s charm, especially when combined with Emily’s teary eyed look. It made his heart race uncontrollably 

He was usually a playboy, but at that moment, he felt as nervous as if he were facing his first love. 

His breathing became heavier, and he asked, “Do you want to know what you should do?” 

Emily nodded. “Tell me. I’ll do whatever I can’ 

“Give yourself to mel” Charlie leaned in close, whispering in her ear seductively. Three months is all I need. You know, I never stick with a woman for more than that. I’ll get bored after three months, and we can call it quits!” 

Emily shivered uncontrollably. 

Before she could respond, Charlie frowned and asked, “You’re not willing?” 

Tears slipped from Emily’s eyes. “Other than that.” 

“What else do you have?” Charlie’s face suddenly turned cold, all traces of his gentleness and patience were gone. He stared at her. “Emily, what else do you have to offer me apart from your body?” 

“You can punish me. Make me stay single for the rest of my life. Be your assistant forever” 

“Punish you?” Charlie laughed, wiping her tears away with a finger. “Having you around every day, is that a punishment for you or for me?” 

Emily lifted her head, and her eyes filled with tears. “Then let it be a debt. I don’t plan on repaying it!” 

“Say that again!” Charlie gripped her face tightly, his eyes filled with darkness. 

Suddenly, thunder rumbled, and the lights flickered before going out 

They were plunged into darkness. A power outage? 

A look of surprise flickered in Emily’s eyes before they widened as she felt Charlie’s lips on hers. He took advantage of her surprise to take her breath away with a forceful kiss. 

Before she could resist, he had her pinned against him, kissing her as if he were venting his frustrations. 

Tears streamed down Emily’s face, but Charlie didn’t care, swallowing them with his kiss. 

The bathroom window was half open, and the sounds of rain and thunder mixed with their heavy breathing. In the darkness, everything was chaotic. 

Charlie expertly controlled her emotions. 

Emily was no match for him. She quickly lost control under his passionate kisses, her mind a blank slate as he took control of everything. 

After what felt like an eternity, the power came back on, and the bathroom was suddenly lit up. 

Emily gasped and pushed Charlie away, quickly fixing her clothes before turning her back to him. 

Her emotions were a whirlwind of panic, shame, and embarrassment. 

Charlie watched Emily’s reflection in the mirror, her face was streaked with tears. “Is it really that painful to be with me? Do you really not like me at all? 

Emily’s shoulders shook violently, her tears falling uncontrollably. She was too choked up to speak. 

Charlie grabbed her shoulders, slowly turning her around to face him. His face was expressionless as he looked at her 

After a moment, he took out a tissue and gently wiped her tears away, also wiping off the smudged color from her lips. 

He smoothed out her clothes, buttoning them up one by one. 

Through all this, Charlie was incredibly patient. 

Emily’s heart ached She was willing to give herself to him, but if she did, there would be no room left for love. 

The only bit of love between them, a love that could last a lifetime, would disappear completely after tonight.
