"Zachary and that girl have been seeing each other for almost a month now. Norah said with a laugh, "Mr. Flemmings has promised to cover the cost of Zachary's wedding and reception."
"Xavier has always been good to his friends!" Estelle exclaimed.
"Yes, he highly values his friendships. That's why Zachary and the others are so loyal to him." Norah's eyes sparkled.
Estelle was happy for Zachary: "I'll drop by the BBQ place this weekend to catch up with everyone."
"Great, everyone's been missing you!"
As they chatted, Catherine knocked and walked in, handing a wooden box to Estelle.
"Try it on, see if it fits."
"What is it?" Estelle asked, opening the intricately carved box to reveal a diamond bracelet.

Not long after Catherine left, Estelle received a text from Jonathan.

Estelle texted back, [Norah and I have plans; I'm spending the night in her room. You should get some rest.]
A few minutes later, there was a knock at the door. Norah laughed, "I bet it's Jonathan!"
Opening the door, there stood Jonathan.
"Can I have my wife back now?"
Norah blocked the doorway, saying, "No, Estelle and I aren't done chatting. I'll give her back to you tomorrow."
Jonathan calmly asked, "Isn't your school organizing a fundraising event for kids in the mountains? Have you met the fundraising goal yet?"
"We're a bit short." Norah's eyes immediately lit up.
"I'll donate!" The man said it generously.
"Deal!" Norah turned and pushed Estelle towards Jonathan, saying, "I'm handing Estelle over to you. Don't forget your promise; I'll send someone to your company to collect the money tomorrow."
"You sold me off just like that?" Estelle looked at Norah in surprise.
"It's not about the amount; it's the thought that counts! Estelle, once the fundraising is over, you'll be the main contributor to this charity event. I'll make sure the kids in the mountains write you a thank-you letter!" Norah winked at Estelle and said, "Off you go, goodnight!"
Estelle was helpless.
Jonathan held back a laugh, took Estelle's hand, and headed upstairs.
