After they got back to the room, Jonathan planted a gentle kiss on Estelle’s cheek and said, “Fancy a shower first?” 

Estelle raised an eyebrow. “Am I staying the night here?” 

“If not here, where else?” Jonathan asked with a grin 

“I just arrived at your place today, is it appropriate for us to share a room right away? Estelle’s eyes were as clear as water. 

“Honey, the whole world knows we’re married” Jonathan chuckled, leading her towards the bathroom. 

Estelle squirmed a little. I haven’t greeted your mom and sister yet.” 

“They’ve already said hello to you.” 

“When?” 

“When they brought you your pajamas 

Estelle was quiet 

She lifted her wrist to show Jonathan, “This is the bracelet your mother gave me.” 

“Your sister-in-law has one just like it.” Jonathan laughed softly, saying. “You’re already wearing a bracelet personally given to you by your mother-in-law. Isn’t it a bit distant to still call her ‘mother-in-law”?” 

Estelle looked down, and said, “The word ‘mom is unfamiliar to me, give me some time.” 

Jonathan’s eyes dimmed, filled with heartache. He gently kissed her cheek and said, “It’s okay. Whenever you’re ready to call her ‘mom’, it’s up to you. Even if you never do, my mom won’t mind because what we call each other is not important!” 

Estelle’s eyes were tender and warm. “Tll try my best.” 

They were so good to her, how could she not appreciate it? 

An hour later, Jonathan camed Estelle out of the bathroom. Instead of heading back to the bedroom, he walked towards the floor-to-ceiling windows. 

The windows, having been bathed in sunlight all day, felt warm and comfortable to lean on, but Estelle couldn’t help but shiver, shaking her head in fear and saying. “Let’s not do it here”

Jonathan stared at her growled in a low voice, and then passionately kissed her. 

The next moming, Estelle woke up early, while Jonathan was still fast asleep. 

The sun hadn’t fully risen yet, making the room somewhat gloomy. The man was hugging her sideways, the rising sun illuminating his distinct face. His handsome appearance was otherworldly, making it hard to look away 

Estelle looked for a long time, recalling their first encounter at the Sapphire Hotel that hight, their unexpected meeting at the University of J City, and the time she left the McClain family in the rain when they ended up in the same car again. 

He was a bit wary of her, even somewhat repelling 

She did want to get close to him at that time, and she wanted to ask him if he remembered her
