Simone looked worried as hell, "We chose Carmella over Estelle long ago. Now she's holding a grudge against us. Even though she's KING, what does that have to do with us?"
Bennett said, "Yeah, maybe we were a bit harsh before, but we're family. Estelle can't deny that."
Simone snorted, "She's so ruthless. There's no way she'll acknowledge us as her parents! I bet all of this is her scheming. She purposely put Carmella on a pedestal, just to knock her down later! She chose to reveal her identity as KING now, just to take revenge on Carmella, and us! Maybe, she even let Carmella see those designs on purpose!"
Bennett frowned, "Don't get carried away. Estelle wouldn't do something like that!"
"Then why is she suddenly proclaiming to be KING in front of everyone?" Simone's face was solemn, "She did it on purpose! She set a trap for Carmella to fall into and watched from the shadows. She's so cunning!"
Bennett was about to say something when a maid rushed down from upstairs, too scared to even speak, "Sir, madam, Carmella has slit her wrist!"
"What?" Bennett jumped up.
Simone's face was even paler. She was stunned for a few seconds before she rushed upstairs.
In Carmella's room upstairs, she was lying on the bed, her arm hanging over the edge. Her wrist was slit, blood was dripping onto the carpet, turning it a shocking blood red.
"Ah!" Simone screamed in horror.
Bennett rushed over and ordered the maid, "Go get a bandage to stop the bleeding, and call for an ambulance!"
The maid nodded and ran off.
Fifteen minutes later, the ambulance took Carmella away.
