Henson watched Norah's frantic figure and gave a cold snort, something was definitely fishy.
Xavier returned to the shop, the others were still playing cards. He took a shower and lay in his bed. He lit a cigarette, but he couldn't stop thinking about the look on Norah's face when she confessed to him in the car.
He was considering whether to tell Estelle about this to give Norah some guidance.
He thought Norah's feelings for him were a mistake.
He might need to reconsider letting Norah quit the barbecue shop.
Norah had finished her studies, she was excellent, and many companies were interested in hiring her, but she did not go to the Lamont Group or any of the companies that recruited her. Instead, she continued to work in the barbecue shop, he had been meaning to talk to her about this.

Xavier's long fingers were on the phone, slowly typing, [No.]
Daisy indeed didn't contact him, but during the movie, his father did call him, but he didn't answer. Without thinking, he knew he was asking about his blind date with Daisy.
Norah sent a message: [So you haven't slept yet!]
Xavier could almost instantly imagine Norah's surprised face in his mind. He replied to her, [I'm watching Zachary and the others play cards.]
Norah sent another message: [I can't sleep either, I wish I could watch you guys play cards too.]
Xavier frowned and replied, [Stop messing around!]
Norah sent a cute cat emoji.
Xavier looked at the emoji, and his heart softened a bit.
Norah sent another message: [It's late. Go tell them to go to bed early; you should rest as well.]
Xavier put his fingers on the phone and replied, [Okay.]
Norah sent a sleeping emoji, waited a minute, then sent another message, [Goodnight!]
Xavier didn't reply, he just watched the screen dim bit by bit until it went black.
He put down his phone and reached for his cigarettes.
