Bennett called and asked her to come home for the holidays. 

He was earnest and explained that Carmella had undergone some counseling and had shown remorse for her past actions. She sincerely acknowledged her mistakes and hoped Estelle would return home.

Estelle’s tone was indifferent. She hung up the phone and turned to find Jonathan standing behind her.

“Alright!” Jonathan approached and held her hand, leading her back to continue their meal. 

By the end of the meal, Kya and Mr. Jarvis had became friendly When Mr. Jarvis showed Kya the pond full of fishes, Kya was so delighted that she refused to take a nap, insisting on fishing with Mr. Jarvis. 

The man and the little girl sat by the pond, chatting and laughing without any communication barriers. 

Emily sat on a wooden bench on the corridor, and her dimples made a fleeting appearance as she laughed, “Estelle, I didn’t expect your family to be so wealthy!”

Emily asked, “Then why did you leave the Jarvis family to go back to the Macclain family?”
