Suddenly, Xavier pulled a silk scarf from somewhere in the wardrobe. He grabbed Norah's arm, intending to tie her hands behind her back. Norah struggled for a moment, looking up at him in confusion.

They locked eyes in the darkness for a few seconds before Xavier leaned in and whispered in her ear, “If we're discovered, just say I tied you up and was trying to force myself on you. Say you were a victim.”

Norah turned her head in alarm. They were already standing extremely close, and as she turned, her lips brushed against the corner of his mouth. A jolt, like an electric shock, shot through them, and both froze.

Norah held her breath and hugged him again, shaking her head slightly.

“No. If you dare tie me up, I'll walk out there right now!”

She understood his plan, but she would never agree to it.

Yvonne had already started opening wardrobe doors to find something to wear. The first one was full of men's clothes. She closed it and opened the second, which contained handbags.

The third wardrobe had smoky glass doors, revealing jewelry and accessories inside. Yvonne glanced at it and skipped over it.

The next wardrobe... was the one where Norah and Xavier were hiding.

In that instant, Norah's fear suddenly vanished. It didn't matter if they were seen. She would tell everyone that she was the one pursuing Xavier, that she was pestering him, and that she had deliberately followed him here while he was changing. After all, it was the truth.

Hearing the sounds from outside, Norah furrowed her brow and glared at Xavier.
