Estelle was suddenly reminded of when she first met Manley.

Outside the University of J City, he had been dressed just like this, publicly confessing his feelings for her with ulterior motives, insisting she accept a car full of flowers.

Thinking back, she could still picture that car overflowing with vibrant red roses, as flamboyant as the man himself.

If that day was the beginning, then let today be the end. Whether he continued to treat life as a game or found love with a gentle girl, she hoped he would no longer suffer from unrequited love.

In the quiet corridor, their eyes met. Manley leaned lazily against a column, the dim light catching his visibly long eyelashes. In that play of light and shadow, his eyes seemed to shimmer, a hint of crimson at the corners lending them a captivating, almost ethereal beauty.

He watched, unblinking, as the young woman walked toward him. She wore a pink and white striped t-shirt, her black hair falling to her shoulders. Her features were as exquisite as a painting, her aura still pure and clear, just as he remembered from their first meeting.

For a moment, the festive clamor around them faded away. There was no wedding tomorrow, no guests celebrating outside. He was just passing through C City and had come to see her.

Maybe she would coldly tell him to leave, or maybe she'd invite him for a meal. During the meal, they would joke and chat without any inhibitions. She would mock his promiscuity, and he would tease her for choosing that scoundrel Jonathan over a great guy like him.

As she drew closer, reality pressed in, and his consciousness sharpened, reminding him with painful clarity that the girl he deeply loved was marrying someone else tomorrow.

A stunning smile curved his lips, his eyes behind the lenses sparkling with charm. "I was going to come directly to the wedding tomorrow, but then I thought, I'm practically on the bride's side, so I came a day early."

Estelle stopped a few feet away, her gaze clear. "Then tomorrow, you can send me off with Magdalen and the others."

"Of course!"

Manley's lips parted in a smile. "I'll get to see you in your wedding dress before Jonathan does. I'm content with that!"

Estelle asked, "Where's Lambert?"

Manley raised an eyebrow. "He was at the Lamont estate yesterday and fell for Yvonne at first sight. He's busy pursuing her now. I doubt we'll see him for the next couple of days."

Estelle was surprised. "Lambert has a crush on Yvonne?"

Manley shrugged with a look of disdain. "Yeah. What terrible taste!"

As darkness fell, people spontaneously began setting off fireworks across the city. They shot up from every corner, lighting up the night sky in a continuous, brilliant display!

The entire city was celebrating in anticipation of the wedding tomorrow.

From across the city center, one could vaguely see the C City estate, also ablaze with lights and bustling with activity. A festive atmosphere filled the air, and everyone was swept up in the excitement and joy.

The Jarvis family was hosting a banquet that evening. Gabriel was in the front greeting guests, while Estelle had a much more relaxed time, able to leave everything in Magdalen's capable hands.

The silver moon hung in the vast, starry sky.

The courtyard was illuminated by a kaleidoscope of lights, which, mingled with the flowers, created a scene of such intoxicating beauty it felt as if all the world's splendor had been gathered in one place.

A group of them sat together, drinking and chatting in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere, happiness radiating from every smile and gesture.
