Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 2759

Jason looked at Sophia. “And what’s your excuse for sabotaging me?”

Sophia’s face was red from laughing. “I have a mission too!” she chirped.

Standing next to Jonathan, Chuck let out a breath of relief. “Thank you for your mercy, Mr. Lamont.”

He’d been given the easiest task, even if Charlie had played a little trick on him.

Jonathan smiled. “Everyone has their strengths and their role to play.”

Hearing that, Norah whispered to Xavier, “What kind of assignment do you think Jonathan will give you?”

Xavier looked at her coolly. “Hasn’t my assignment already started?”

His eyes held a hint of playful mockery. Norah looked at him, unsure if he was joking, but a sweet feeling blossomed in her heart. She bit her lip to hide a smile and turned back to watch Charlie and the others.

Round two began, another five-second countdown. Charlie told Emily to get ready, but just as he was about to lower himself, she suddenly leaned down and whispered in his ear, “Charlie, who was that woman you had lunch with at the music restaurant two days ago?”

Her lipstick-coated lips barely grazed his earlobe, but it sent a jolt through him, and he nearly collapsed.

He whipped his head around. “That wasn’t you?”

Emily just bit her lip and smiled.

Meanwhile, Sophia tried the same tactic. She leaned over Jason’s shoulder, but before she could speak, he suddenly turned and kissed her on the lips. “Sweet?”

Sophia’s lips were now tainted with the sourness of lemon and the spice of wasabi. She frowned, and as she was about to speak, Jason abruptly dropped down.

With a muffled *pop*, the balloon burst. Sophia yelped and threw her arms around him.

This time, besides Jason, neither Charlie nor Carson succeeded.

Sallie brought over two more glasses of juice, a cute smile on her face. “Mr. James, Mr. Foster, if you please.”
