Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 2768

Suddenly, his vision went black again. Jonathan found himself standing in the living room, motionless. It took him a full three minutes before he removed the VR headset.

The screen was pushed aside, and Magdalen and Manley appeared. Manley was also holding a VR device.

Magdalen, looking vibrant and beautiful in her bridesmaid dress, smiled. “Amiee and I spent nearly six months preparing this wedding gift for Ella and you, Mr. Lamont. Are you satisfied?”

Sunlight streamed through the tall mahogany windows, casting dappled light across the room. In that moment, reality and the simulation overlapped.

Jonathan’s eyes were deep and profound as he slowly nodded. “Thank you.”

Magdalen had indeed given him a gift beyond any monetary value. It was less for him and Ella, and more specifically for him.

It filled in some of the blanks in his knowledge of Estelle’s past and, more importantly, soothed his greatest regret.

From the moment he saw the wheel, he had begun to understand. Magdalen was guiding him, showing him the resilience and courage it took for Estelle to walk the path that led her to this day.

He had always known it, but experiencing it firsthand touched the softest part of his heart.

Manley curved his thin, red lips into a slight smile.

“Although I still lost to you in the simulation, this time I understand, and I hope you do too, Mr. Lamont. You didn't win in the end because you met her first, or because you love her more than I do. It's because she has always, unwavering, chosen you.”

Jonathan’s gaze was deep. He nodded slowly, his animosity toward Manley even softening slightly.

Magdalen glanced toward the inner room and smiled. “Ella has been waiting for you for a long time. Go on in. We’ll handle things out here and give you two some time alone.”

“Thank you.”
