Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 2780

Grace was looking right at him. “Sylvia is here.”

Gabriel’s eyes deepened. He gave a slight nod to show he understood.

Old Mr. Jarvis seemed much more pleased by the news. “Sylvia is here too?”

Grace was a little surprised. “Mr. Jarvis, you know Sylvia as well?”

“Of course, I do. Our connection is anything but ordinary,” Old Mr. Jarvis said, glancing meaningfully at Gabriel before adding with a cheerful smile, “Where is she?”

“She’s probably already in the hall by now,” Grace replied with a smile. “If I’d known you knew each other, I would have brought her over with me.”

“No matter. As long as she’s here, we’ll see her sooner or later,” Old Mr. Jarvis said with a warm smile.

Evelyn, standing next to Old Mr. Quintin, felt a deep sense of unease as she watched their reactions to Sylvia’s name. She hadn’t expected Grace to know Sylvia.

From the way they spoke, their relationship seemed very close.

Both Old Mr. Jarvis and Gabriel clearly favored Sylvia, and now even her own mother seemed warmer to an outsider than to her own daughter.

How could she possibly feel comfortable with that?

Grace checked the time. “Mr. Jarvis, you should head to the hall now. I won’t delay you any longer. I’m going to find Sylvia.”

Old Mr. Quintin grew anxious. Understanding his friend’s concern, Old Mr. Jarvis said to Grace, “Don’t rush off after the ceremony. We haven’t seen each other in so many years; we should have a good chat.”

Grace smiled and agreed. “I’ll come find you for a chat after the wedding.”

“Excellent,” Old Mr. Jarvis nodded kindly.

This seemed to reassure Old Mr. Quintin. “You have my number. Call me if you can’t find me.”

Grace acknowledged this, said her goodbyes, and left.
