Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 2820

Answering either way would be a trap, and Estelle wasn't about to fall for it. Her eyes darted around, and she suddenly asked, "What time is it?"

Her serious expression gave no hint that she was trying to change the subject.

"Eight o'clock," Jonathan replied.

Estelle pushed against his shoulders. "I have to get up. We need to serve tea to Mom and Dad this morning."

Jonathan's eyes sparkled. "Not bad, you still remember."

"Is it too late now?" she asked him.

"Not at all. I just called them. We'll go over at nine. After the tea ceremony, we'll all have breakfast together." Jonathan glanced at the time. "So, you can sleep for another half hour."

Estelle looked at him pleadingly. "Are you going to let me sleep?"

Jonathan stared at her for a few seconds, then pulled back the covers. "Let's sleep together."

Estelle shot up, scrambled out of bed, and ran toward the bathroom in her wine-red silk pajamas.

Sleep together? As if she could get any sleep!

Behind her, the sound of jingling bells mingled with the man's deep laughter, drifting through the warm morning sun.

As they got into the car, Jonathan held Estelle's hand and outlined the plan for the next couple of days. They didn't have much to do today, mainly just accompanying the elders to see off some of the guests.

In the afternoon, the Lamonts would head back to J City, while the two of them would stay behind. The next morning, they would go back to the Jarvis family home.

Estelle had no objections and was happy to let Jonathan handle all the arrangements.

When Sylvia opened her eyes, the sun was already bright, and her head felt a little dizzy.

An arm was wrapped around her waist. She followed it with her eyes, trying to recall what had happened last night.

Forced or willing? Definitely willing.

Passive or active? Looking at the state of the room, she must have been the active one.
