Eugene said coldly, "If you want to suck up to her, do it yourselves. Leave me out of it! And get Sylvia's car fixed immediately. Otherwise, I'll have her call the police. Damaging someone else's property is a crime. If you want your son to go to jail, then feel free to do nothing."
With that, Eugene hung up.
Mrs. Winters was so angry she nearly threw her phone. After calming down and thinking it over, she arranged to have Sylvia's car repaired.
Eugene also called Sylvia personally to warn her to be careful for the next few days and to pay close attention to her surroundings when driving.
Sylvia told him she would.

Estelle, Gabriel, and the others arrived at the Quintin estate around noon. Georgia hadn't arrived yet.
Old Mr. Quintin was growing anxious. He wouldn't make the call himself, but he kept urging Old Mr. Jarvis, "Can you call Georgia again and ask her where she is?"
"She had to help some students with something this morning," Old Mr. Jarvis replied. "She just said she was boarding the plane, so her phone is off now. She'll definitely be here today, so what are you so worried about?"
Old Mr. Quintin nodded. "As long as she's coming."
He then turned to a servant. "Is Georgia's room ready?"
"Rest assured, sir," the servant replied quickly. "We clean it every three days as usual, and we did a full cleaning again this morning."
Old Mr. Quintin finally relaxed a little.
Evelyn brought him a cup of tea and smiled. "Don't worry, Grandpa. Once Mom is back, she won't want to leave. I just picked some fresh roses and put them in her room."
Old Mr. Quintin smiled, gratified. "You two will have plenty of time together in the future. You can build your relationship slowly, and she'll come to see how wonderful you are."
Evelyn smiled obediently and nodded.
"We'll be waiting for you!" Mrs. Winters hung up, overjoyed.
Evelyn stared at her phone, her eyes flickering. A sense of unease began to creep in. The DNA test was happening soon. If she wasn't Georgia's daughter, all the prestige she now enjoyed would vanish in an instant.
She stood there for a moment, then saw Estelle in the garden and walked over to her.
"Estelle!"
Estelle was on the phone. She ended her call and turned with a smile. "What's wrong?"
Evelyn's anxiety and unease were visible in her eyes, making her look unwell. "Estelle, my heart is in my throat."
Estelle thought for a moment and said, "This isn't like an exam where you should be nervous about whether you've studied hard enough. The result of this is already set in stone; we're just about to uncover it. All you can do is face whatever comes with composure."
