Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 2825

Jonathan glanced at her and said to Old Mr. Jarvis, "With her like this, it's impossible for me to be in a hurry either."

Though his tone was one of resignation, it was filled with affection.

Old Mr. Jarvis laughed heartily.

That night.

The group stayed up late chatting with Old Mr. Jarvis before heading off to their own rooms.

Back in their courtyard, the wooden corridor was still adorned with festive red lanterns, casting a multicolored glow on Coco's snow-white feathers.

Estelle fed Coco some walnuts. The parrot squawked, "Congratulations, Ella! Ella, have babies soon!"

Estelle looked at Jonathan in surprise. "Who taught it to say that?"

Jonathan took her wrist and pulled her into his embrace, his handsome features looking even more striking under the lamplight. "It doesn't need to be taught. It just picks things up when it hears people say them enough."

Jonathan held Estelle's hand and continued to feed Coco. "From your beak to God's ears," he said with a small smile.

Estelle was exasperated. "You actually believe a bird!"

Jonathan looked down at her, his eyes burning. "Maybe there's one on the way already."

Estelle turned to face him, her delicate features showing a mix of seriousness and concern. "But I drank a lot yesterday!"

"It's fine. I asked the doctor; it won't have a major impact." Jonathan's fingers traced her eyebrows, his gaze falling on her soft pink lips. He couldn't resist leaning down to kiss her.

"Hey!" Coco flapped its wings to cover its eyes.

Jonathan rested his forehead against Estelle's, his gaze intense. "We won't let it watch," he murmured.

Her eyes sparkling like stars, Estelle smiled and nodded.

Jonathan lifted her into his arms and turned toward the bedroom.

Instead of calling the police, she downloaded the video and sent it to Eugene.

Eugene was, naturally, furious. He immediately called his mother. "Where is Aries Winters? He skipped school again to go vandalize someone's property!"

Mrs. Winters was surprised. "What's wrong? Why are you in such a temper so early in the morning?"

Eugene forwarded her the video.

Mrs. Winters glanced at it and laughed dismissively. "Is that all? I thought it was something serious. It's just a few kids being mischievous. Just have the tires re-inflated for her, and it's over."

"He did it to get back at Sylvia, didn't he?" Eugene demanded.

At the mention of that day, Mrs. Winters's own resentment flared. "Look at how badly he was beaten at the wedding! We could have stayed, but Sylvia meddled and got us thrown out. Aries has a short temper; he was just teaching her a little lesson!"

"You deserved to be thrown out! What does that have to do with Sylvia?"

"Eugene, forget about Sylvia. Stop wasting your time on her. You should be spending more time connecting with Evelyn Quintin." Mrs. Winters didn't dare yell at Eugene, so she tried to persuade him patiently. "We all got kicked out, but you were allowed to stay. It must have been because of Evelyn that the James family showed you that courtesy. You need to see the big picture now. Evelyn's status will be a great help to you and our family in the future. Don't be foolish over that Sylvia woman anymore."
