Mr. Carnes said, “Sometimes, once you say what’s been weighing on your heart, you can finally let it go. Nana is back—that’s something to celebrate. If you keep dwelling on the past, it’ll only make her feel worse.”
“Yes, you’re right.” Old Mr. Quintin wiped away his tears and turned to Sylvia. “We have so much life ahead of us. Let’s make up for the twenty years we lost.”
Sylvia smiled softly and nodded. “Alright.”

After dinner, everyone gathered in the living room, chatting comfortably. Old Mr. Jarvis turned to Estelle and said, “You and Jonathan still have your honeymoon to take, don’t you? Now that Nana’s back, there’s nothing holding you here. You should set out tomorrow.”
Estelle, her features as delicate as a painting, smiled and said, “I’m so happy right now, I almost don’t want to go anywhere.”
Gabriel laughed. “Jonathan’s put all his work on hold to be with you and celebrate. Go enjoy yourselves—there will be plenty of time together in the future. Don’t put off your honeymoon.”
Jonathan Lamont glanced at Estelle and nodded. “If anything comes up, just call us anytime.”
“Don’t worry.” Gabriel smiled reassuringly.
Old Mr. Quintin then said to Jason and Sophia Jones, “You two don’t have to stay here with me all the time. If you have things to take care of, go ahead. With Jarvis here, I’ve got someone to chat with.”
Jason replied, “In that case, Old Mr. Jarvis, you should stay a few more days in J City.”
Old Mr. Jarvis chuckled kindly, “I’ve still got some business to finish here—can’t leave just yet.”
Georgia offered, “If there’s anything I can help with, Mr. Jarvis, just let me know.”
Old Mr. Jarvis laughed. “Better ask Old Mr. Quintin about that!”
Old Mr. Quintin’s eyes twinkled. “Don’t even think about it—I’m not agreeing to anything! If you want to go home, just go.”
Georgia asked, curious, “What’s this all about?”
“Gabriel and Nana’s engagement!” Old Mr. Jarvis said with a laugh. “Your father once said that when Nana came home, our families would be joined by marriage, so we’d be even more closely connected. Now, he’s trying to back out of it!”
Everyone was momentarily surprised, then laughter broke out around the room.

Maybe Gabriel can have someone at the Citadel check the whereabouts of Evelyn's boyfriend, whom she followed there in the 1st place to get information about her adoptive family and her biological family as well. The sooner she's gone the better. Thanks for the updates....
