Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3060

Norah burst out laughing. "Don't worry, he's not going to steal your teapot!"

Xavier shot her a vicious glare, his tone dripping with annoyance. "He's here for you. If you need to leave, just go. We're fine here without you."

Noticing his foul mood and afraid he was genuinely angry, Norah quickly backpedaled. "It's fine. I'll make him leave right now!"

She turned back to Adrian, only to find him scrutinizing Xavier's teapot in his hands.

"Put that down!"

Norah sprinted over.

Startled, Adrian's hand jerked, nearly dropping it. "What?"

Norah snatched the teapot away, clutching it tightly. "Mr. Flemmings bought this for a hundred thousand dollars! Can you afford to replace it if you break it?"

"A hundred thousand?" Adrian looked utterly baffled. "That doesn't look like a hundred-thousand-dollar antique."

Norah smirked. "Do you know anything about antiques?"

"No."

"Exactly!" Norah cradled the teapot like a baby. "A hundred thousand dollars, and Mr. Flemmings didn't even try to haggle. That shows how much he loves it. If you broke it, he'd be furious!"

Adrian frowned. "I don't know much about antiques, but my uncle is an expert. Let me take it to him for an appraisal."

He quickly clarified, "Don't get the wrong idea. I just don't want your boss getting scammed."

No matter how he looked at it, that teapot wasn't worth a hundred grand.

Norah could barely hold back her laughter. She set the teapot down and shoved Adrian toward the exit. "Scammed? If he likes it, it's worth a million. If he doesn't, ten bucks is too much. Just go do whatever you need to do and stop bothering me at work!"

Adrian gave Xavier a brief nod before letting Norah shove him out of the restaurant. Once they were outside, Adrian gave her a heavy, meaningful look. "Norah, you can't just judge someone by their looks. You have to consider their background and their life experiences. Marriage is a lifetime commitment. You have to actually live with them."

Norah scoffed. "So you're saying I'm just a brainless girl obsessed with his face? Well, I'll be sure to tell Mr. Flemmings you think he's handsome!"

Xavier shot him a look that clearly said he talked too much, then turned and headed back to the kitchen to work.

Around one o'clock, Damian went out to receive a delivery, leaving Norah at the register to handle payments.

A guy in his early twenties with dyed ash-blonde hair and tattooed arms leaned against the counter. He stared at Norah and smirked. "Hey beautiful, let me get your WhatsApp."

Norah kept her eyes on the ledger, not even looking up. "Sorry. I don't have a phone."

"No phone? Even eighty-year-old grandmas have phones these days. How do you not have one?" The tattooed guy leaned in closer, refusing to take the hint. "Give me your WhatsApp, and I'll take you out tonight. I'll show you a good time."

Norah ignored him, quickly tallying up the bill. Looking up, she stated flatly, "That'll be five hundred and sixty-one dollars. I'll drop the dollar, so it's just five hundred and sixty."

The guy flashed a sleazy smile. "Add me, and I'll pay six hundred."

Norah's face darkened. "Please pay your bill."

The guy kept smirking. "No WhatsApp, no money."
