Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3091

Xavier grabbed Norah's hand and pulled her away.

The others quickly followed them out, and the room was soon left with only the Donovan family.

In the adjacent office, Wyatt Raye laughed and clapped Xavier on the shoulder. "So, you're a Hanson!"

Xavier offered a faint smile. "Just call me Xavier."

Wyatt snorted. "If that's the case, why did you even need me to step in?"

Xavier gave a helpless chuckle. "At first, I honestly didn't know this hotel belonged to my family. Later, when you mentioned you found the manager and could handle it, I decided not to complicate things by revealing my identity. I never expected everything that followed."

When he met with Wyatt on Saturday, he had been completely in the dark. It wasn't until Sunday, when he and Norah were touring Bloomfield and happened to pass the resort, that he spotted the Hanson family's corporate logo. That was when he realized the resort was a Hanson development.

After meeting Warren Wallace on Monday, things seemed to be going smoothly. He hadn't wanted to cause any unnecessary drama, simply planning to wrap it up and head back to J City as soon as possible.

Who would have thought Leila Fields was secretly colluding with Mr. Wallace?

Xavier, Wyatt, and their crew had trained together and survived life-and-death missions. They were brothers-in-arms, but they had an unspoken rule: never pry into each other's private backgrounds.

Naturally, Wyatt didn't blame Xavier for keeping it under wraps. He just smiled. "As long as it's sorted out. More importantly, this whole mess gave us a reason to catch up and see that we're both doing well."

Xavier shared a knowing smile, raising his hand to grip Wyatt's firmly.

"Please don't do that!" Norah quickly stopped him with an awkward laugh, softening her tone. "I've already given my Uncle Jonathan a heads-up. There's really no need for you to visit!"

Hearing this, Spencer finally let out a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness!"

Standing out in the hall, Leila struggled to process the conversation, but one fact hit her like a freight train: Norah Lamont was a wealthy, wildly powerful heiress.

Everything Norah had said to her before hadn't been a bluff—it was the truth!

Leila's anger completely evaporated, replaced by a violent, frantic heartbeat and cold dread.

She no longer had the nerve to confront Norah. Before anyone could spot her, she turned and sprinted away.
