Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3121

Jonathan Lamont immediately had the caregiver fetch a doctor.

"Norah, Norah!" Janice Harper called out softly.

Norah Lamont struggled to open her eyes. Her gaze was completely blank as she stared blankly at the crowd.

"Norah!" Catherine Lamont grasped her hand, tears in her eyes. "Grandma is here, we are all here. How do you feel?"

Norah didn't speak. She just looked at everyone with panic and confusion, even trying to shrink back. However, her injured arm and left leg were immobilized in casts. Any movement brought agonizing pain. She lay with her eyes wide open, tears streaming down her face from the pain.

Her fragile and pale appearance made everyone's hearts ache!

"It's okay, you're safe now!" Catherine held her hand, softly comforting her.

The doctor came in, did a simple checkup on Norah, and observed her condition. He said in a low voice, "It's due to the brain trauma. She just woke up, so please don't rush or overwhelm her. Let's wait until her physical and emotional state stabilizes a bit before continuing with follow-up exams."

Janice asked in a panic, "What's the worst-case scenario?"

The doctor frowned and shook his head, unable to be certain.

Everyone's mood instantly plummeted.

Norah fell asleep again shortly after waking up. The doctor said this was a good thing; she was very weak and needed sleep to recover.

After Norah fell asleep, Estelle Macclain called Xavier to tell him Norah was awake.

She didn't elaborate, only mentioning that Norah was very weak and needed rest.

Xavier paused for a moment before his hoarse voice came through the line. "Please... take good care of her. Call me anytime if anything happens."

"Don't worry," Estelle said.

Xavier had gone back, but Estelle's mood remained as heavy and oppressive as the gloomy weather outside.

Yet she firmly believed that Norah would fully recover.

She was so wonderful and had such a long, long life ahead of her. She wouldn't just be stuck here.

Many people from the company wanted to see her, but Adrian Chambers was worried they would overwhelm her, so he came alone.

Janice, who had been staying by Norah's side at the hospital, deliberately stepped out to let the two of them chat.

Adrian picked an apple from the fruit basket he had brought and flashed a handsome smile. "You love apples, especially green ones, so I specifically had them swap the red ones for green."

Norah leaned against the headboard and smiled sweetly. "Thank you!"

Adrian peeled it with a knife, lowering his gaze. "I'm sorry, Norah. This is all my fault."

Norah tilted her head. "What do you mean?"

Adrian's face was filled with guilt and regret. "I shouldn't have told Janice about you and Xavier. I regret it, I really do. I've spent the last dozen days agonizing over it. If I could do it all over again, I definitely wouldn't have done that."

Norah stared at him blankly. After a moment, she asked in confusion,

"Who is Xavier?"
