Sara nearly choked on her chips. She quickly filled Norah in on how her attempt to ride in Gonzalez's car had ended in total rejection. "He didn't give me an ounce of dignity! He was completely ruthless!"
Norah patted her arm sympathetically. "You know how he is by now, right? Just brush it off."
Sara crunched loudly on another chip. "Has he always been like this?"
"How should I know? We're not exactly close!"
Norah reached into the bag and grabbed a chip for herself. As soon as the words left her mouth, she thought back to her Saturday tutoring sessions at the bookstore. She never felt like he was unreasonable. In fact, he was incredibly easy to talk to.
He had even thoughtfully brought her breakfast this morning.
Maybe it was just because he needed her tutoring services, so he was on his best behavior.

Fueled by snacks and laughter, the drive flew by, and they soon arrived at the base of the mountain, navigating their way toward the campsite.
The moment they hit the mountain trails, the air became crisp and refreshingly cool. The surrounding area was well-developed and secure, making it a perfect spot for camping.
Stepping out of the car, Sara couldn't contain her excitement. She cupped her hands around her mouth and let out a loud cheer.
Vast expanses of lush green grass stretched before them, framed by magnificent, towering peaks. The air was pure, thick with the moisture of natural springs. Paired with the crisp, melodic sound of rushing water, the scenery was nothing short of breathtaking.
It truly was a spectacular location to set up camp.
The group began unloading their gear, searching for the perfect spot to pitch the tents.
"The river current here is extremely fast," Gonzalez warned the group. "Do not go near the water."
Sara looked at him in surprise. "How do you know?"
They were still a good distance away from the river and completely out of sight of the actual water.
"I can hear it," Gonzalez replied flatly. He pulled the wheelchair from the trunk, set it up smoothly on the grass, and turned to Norah. "Don't lift a finger. Just sit here and watch."

The readers' comments on the novel: Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan)
Janice and Adrian don't want Norah to be with Xavier....
Thank you for the updates. You do keep us in suspense....
Curious as to how, what, when and where Norah will get her memory back of Xavier....
I'm so glad that Gonzalez was able to get Luke, Oliver and all others who wanted to challenge himas the CEO straight. Interesting how Xavier made reference to a girlfriend concerning his gift to Norah, but never did this before her accident. I'm grateful for the updates. Thank you...
I had a lot of catching up to do..oh buoy, what twist and turns. Loved every bit of it, thank you for keep updating the novel. Hoping for more love along the way....
May we please have updates. Thank you...
Someone needs to send a new picture of Trevor to Oliver and Luke so that they will get their requested reports to Gonzalez asap. If they didn't know, now they know what awaits them if they continue to disrespect and NOT follow orders....
Well, well, well. I love how Gonzalez sent out the warning that he's the CEO and either they will acknowledge him as such or get their due diligence. I'm waiting to see how the Franco family will be walking on eggs and come into a new understanding of Gonzalez taking charge. Thank you so much for the five updates....
Adrian is hoping that he has a chance with Norah and will do everything and anything in his power to keep Norah and Xavier apart....
Thank you for the updates. I hope that Norah will remember Xavier and their relationship before the accident and that they will ever be to....
