Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3177

"Whatever," Adrian said abruptly. "There's no point arguing about this."

"Let's talk about something that does matter, then," Sara pivoted. "What kind of girls do you like, Adrian?"

"Someone like Norah," Adrian answered without missing a beat.

"Then why don't you two just get together?" Sara teased, seizing the moment.

Norah choked on her drink, coughing into her hand. "Don't joke around like that. Adrian and I are best friends. You don't cross that line!"

Adrian dramatically clutched his chest, looking at Sara in mock devastation. "See that? She doesn't even want me!"

Norah laughed, swatting his arm. "Don't twist my words. It has nothing to do with wanting or not!"

"So what kind of boyfriend are you looking for, Norah?" Sara asked.

Norah tapped her chin, genuinely considering it. "Someone who catches my eye immediately. A guy who is clean-cut and refreshing."

Clean-cut? Refreshing?

Gonzalez's brow furrowed as he mentally reviewed his scruffy, intimidating appearance back at the barbecue restaurant.

"That simple?" Sara chuckled. "Any other requirements? Personality? Age? Education? Family background?"

Norah pulled her knees to her chest, resting her feet on the edge of her chair as she nursed her drink. "Personality-wise, he should be outgoing. He can be older, but no more than five years. Otherwise, we won't have anything in common to talk about."

"Education should be similar to mine. As for family background, I really don't care."

Gonzalez stared at her, his expression turning impossibly grim. Every single standard she listed perfectly disqualified him!

Adrian, however, lit up. "Well, look at that. I'm practically tailor-made for you!"

Norah tilted her head, a playful smile on her lips. "That's true. But I wonder why I don't have feelings for you?"

As the group continued chatting, Lorelei walked over, flanked by Whitney and the new couple.

The newcomers, Caleb and Holly, looked like fresh college grads—naive, a bit green, and polite as they introduced themselves.

Sara and Adrian despised Lorelei, but they weren't about to be rude to the innocent kids tagging along.

Lorelei held a large cooler box, flashing a sickly sweet smile. "My dad went out of his way to get us these Australian lobsters. Let's all share! Don't be shy."

Caleb looked at her with wide-eyed awe. "Lorelei, your family must be loaded."

"We do alright," Lorelei said with a modest wave. "My dad just runs a small business."

Whitney immediately puffed up her chest to brag on her behalf. "It's an import-export empire. She gets ten grand a month just for her allowance!"

"Whoa!" Caleb stared at Lorelei in disbelief. "That's insane!"
