Sara suddenly laughed. "I was actually really looking forward to seeing what happened last night. Funny how the moment we mention checking the security footage, you completely lose your nerve!"
Lorelei's expression faltered. Beside her, Holly looked deep in thought, her gaze turning increasingly suspicious as she stared at Caleb.
Caleb panicked even more than Lorelei. "Finding the watch is the priority! If it's not actually missing, there's no need for the police."
"I'll go look right now!" Lorelei rushed off toward the tents.
She scurried back moments later, breathless, holding the watch up in the air. "It really was in my tent! I remembered wrong!"
This time, not only was Caleb stunned and humiliated, but even Whitney—who had been eagerly kissing up to Lorelei all morning—was rendered completely speechless.
Adrian let out a harsh scoff. "I've never seen such a pathetic joke in my entire life. Truly a mind-blowing experience."
"Count your blessings," Sara added sharply. "It's a good thing Gonzalez called the cops and pointed out the cameras. Otherwise, you would've carried the label of a thief for the rest of your life, or ended up being extorted for thousands of dollars!"
Still clinging to her arrogance, Whitney pointed a finger at Sara. "Who do you think you're talking to?"
*Slap!*
Standing close by, Norah swatted Whitney's hand away, her eyes blazing with an icy glare. "First you confidently frame us, and the second you realize there's evidence, the watch miraculously appears. Do you think we're all idiots? After all that, you still have the audacity to act tough? Who gave you the right?"
Usually soft-spoken and gentle, Norah was completely unrecognizable when she lost her temper. Her commanding presence dominated the space.
Whitney was furious over being slapped and lunged forward to retaliate, but Gonzalez leveled her with a deadly, predatory gaze. A cold sweat broke out over her back, and she froze, not daring to take another step.
"Alright, enough arguing," Sara said smoothly, holding up her phone with a mocking smile. "Lorelei, username 'Daddy's Little Bell'—turns out you're quite the minor internet celebrity."
Sara turned the screen for everyone to see. "You've been thoroughly exposed online. A homewrecker, a club regular, someone who goes on group trips specifically to hook up with the men, and then fakes losing expensive items to extort people. You've successfully scammed quite a few people. What a fascinating resume!"
"Oh, and look here," Sara continued, scrolling. "Someone even dug up your background. Turns out your dad is just a shady contractor who owes money all over town and refuses to pay his debts."

I would like for Norah to secretly have her memory restored and not tell anyone just to observe how everyone is trying to keep mess going....
Janice and Adrian don't want Norah to be with Xavier....
Thank you for the updates. You do keep us in suspense....
Curious as to how, what, when and where Norah will get her memory back of Xavier....
I'm so glad that Gonzalez was able to get Luke, Oliver and all others who wanted to challenge himas the CEO straight. Interesting how Xavier made reference to a girlfriend concerning his gift to Norah, but never did this before her accident. I'm grateful for the updates. Thank you...

Someone needs to send a new picture of Trevor to Oliver and Luke so that they will get their requested reports to Gonzalez asap. If they didn't know, now they know what awaits them if they continue to disrespect and NOT follow orders....
