Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3324

The lounge was semi-open, with the small corridor outside connecting to other rooms. People were walking back and forth, and anyone passing by could easily spot them.

The guests the Chambers family had invited today were incredibly wealthy and influential. Most of them recognized Norah and Gonzalez, and if they were caught, the fallout would be catastrophic.

Hearing approaching footsteps, Norah instantly tensed up.

"Sara, have you seen Norah?" Adrian's voice rang out just a few feet away.

Sara quickly replied, "Norah went to the restroom. I'm going to find her. You go back to your guests!"

"Alright, call me if you need anything," Adrian said.

Norah's eyelashes fluttered as she snapped her eyes open, instantly falling into the man's deep, pitch-black gaze. It felt like plummeting into an abyss, a freefall she couldn't control.

She completely forgot about the approaching footsteps, completely oblivious to when the voices finally faded away.

By the time he pulled away from her lips, she was gasping for air. He murmured softly, "Are you sure you don't have any feelings for me at all?"

Norah's face burned crimson. A flash of embarrassed anger crossed her eyes as she shoved him hard, hopped down from the cabinet, and darted toward the door to escape his hold.

"Gonzalez, I never want to see you again!"

She tried to sound furious, but her soft, breathless voice made it sound more like a coquettish complaint.

Gonzalez's expression remained insolent, his tone lazy. "Where exactly are you going to run?"

Just having him look at her made her heart race wildly, making it impossible for her to think straight. She took two steps back before turning and fleeing in a panic.

She ran away again!

Watching her retreating figure, Gonzalez was convinced she had feelings for him. Under those circumstances, all she had to do was scream, and people would have come rushing over.

She didn't scream. She was protecting him.

So why wouldn't she admit it? Was she genuinely unaware of her own feelings, or did she actually care about the generational gap between their families?

He couldn't quite figure it out. What happened to the bravery she showed when she used to pursue him?
