They truly looked like two clueless tigers.

Damian and Zachary stared blankly, stuttering, "R-really sing?"

"Just do it!" Gonzalez cleared his throat. "She's lowered her demands. It's either walk or sing. Your choice!"

Damian let out a sigh of pure resignation. Fine, he would sing. Who told their boss to be completely wrapped around Norah's little finger? There was no way he was going to back them up.

He wracked his brain for the lyrics. It took a solid ten seconds before, face entirely red, he mumbled out the first line. "Two tigers..."

He finished and looked at Zachary. In his gruff voice, Zachary belted out the next part. "Running fast!"

Damian sang, "One has no eyes!"

Zachary frowned, his brain working on overdrive. A regular customer always brought a kid who loved this song. What was the next line?

Everyone was waiting. In a panic, he blurted out, "The other has no eyes either!"

Hearing Zachary completely botch the melody, Damian somehow managed to follow along. "How strange!"

Zachary nodded solemnly. "Truly strange!"

Norah was practically collapsed on the table, clutching her stomach, her shoulders shaking with uncontrollable laughter.

The rest of the restaurant staff had crowded around the back door to watch the spectacle. They were all doubled over, the entire place echoing with laughter.

It was the perfect mix of sheer awkwardness and absolute hilarity.

Even Gonzalez's usually sharp, imposing features were softened by a wide smile.

One of the newer, younger waiters suddenly shouted, "I know how to sing it! I'll sing it for you!"

Without an ounce of shame, he belted out the tune at the top of his lungs. "Two tigers, two tigers, running fast..."

The staff around him joined in. "Running fast!"

"One has no eyes, one has no tail!"

"How strange!"

Norah stood up and walked right between Damian and Zachary, flashing a brilliant smile. "They're giving you a demonstration! Join in!"
