Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3507

The drive was silent. After leaving the Midnight Bar, Marina went looking for her car, only realizing when she got in that she had been drinking and couldn't drive.

Carson opened her door and ushered her out. "I'll take you home."

He had just arrived at the Midnight Bar when Giselle's people called him over, not even having the chance to take a sip of alcohol.

Marina's mind was a bit foggy. Still reeling from the shock of everything that almost happened for the first time, she followed him into his car in a daze.

Seeing her demeanor, Carson assumed she was angry at him for forcing himself on her, and he frowned slightly.

Just as they got into the car, a man approached and tapped lightly on the window. When it rolled down to reveal Carson's striking, handsome face, the man spoke nervously, "Mr. Foster!"

Carson recognized him as one of Tim Dawson's men. "What is it?" he asked flatly.

The man handed over a shopping bag with both hands. "Mr. Dawson said that since it's his first time meeting Marina, he picked out a small gift for her. He hopes she'll accept it."

Carson knew this was Tim's way of apologizing. He took the bag and smiled faintly. "Tell Mr. Dawson he shouldn't have. Thank him for me."

"Of course!" The man took a step back. "I won't disturb you any longer, Mr. Foster. Safe travels!"

Carson started the car and casually handed the gift to Marina.

Marina refused. "I don't want it."

"Then give it to Erin," Carson said coolly. "To compensate her for being scared. Or..."

He paused, casting a meaningful glance at Marina. "Maybe it's a pleasant surprise, and she's enjoying herself right now."

Marina's face tightened defensively. "She doesn't have the guts for that!"

Carson looked at her. "Are you talking about yourself? All talk and no courage. You hit the brakes every time."

Marina was speechless.
