Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3556

In stark contrast to Charlotte and Phoebe Evert's furious resentment, the atmosphere in their wing of the Evert estate was jubilant. Rhiannon Evert was practically glowing as she filled her husband, Jude, in on the day's events.

"You missed Carson earlier since you just got back. The two of them were completely inseparable. You can just tell they're head over heels!" Rhiannon beamed. "It's a sure thing this time. With their relationship this solid, they definitely won't be breaking up again. They've been engaged long enough, so it's time to start prepping for the wedding. Just you wait—give it a month, and the Foster family will be knocking on our door to finalize the arrangements."

Her excitement was palpable. "Just a few days ago, Marina told me she wanted to call off the engagement. She said she wasn't happy, and it had me so worried I couldn't sleep all night."

Jude chuckled. "Look at how thrilled you are. Where is Marina now?"

"She went straight upstairs as soon as she got back. She's probably on the phone with Carson right now. Those two can't stand to be apart for a single second!" Rhiannon squeezed her husband's hand, looking immensely relieved. "I can finally put my mind at ease."

After thoroughly discussing Marina and Carson, Rhiannon brought up Warren Griffith's disastrous scheme.

Jude frowned deeply. "So Warren only pursued Phoebe to use our family to get to Carson?"

"Charlotte's face was a picture," Rhiannon said, a hint of vindication in her voice. "She was always bragging about the gifts Warren sent to the house. Talk about a public slap in the face!"

"Do you think they'll take their anger out on Marina?" Jude asked, his brow furrowing with concern.

"Why would they?" Rhiannon asked in surprise. "Our Marina had absolutely no idea about Warren's little plot."

Jude sighed. "Do you honestly think Charlotte operates on logic?"

Rhiannon paused to consider this. "You don't think she'll actually try to cause trouble for Marina, do you?"

"Looking at it now, it's a good thing Marina moved out," Jude said, sounding profoundly relieved. "At least she doesn't have to deal with them picking fights and creating a toxic environment every single day."

Rhiannon remained optimistic. "She has Carson now. Marina won't be the one taking the hit."

Jude's eyes still held a trace of worry. "We can't just rely entirely on Carson. If we do, who's going to have her back when she officially joins the Foster family?"

He let out a heavy sigh. "Sometimes I think it's a blessing that Marina has such a strong personality. If we can't protect her, at least she can protect herself."
