Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3565

Before she could finish her sentence, Carson swept her up into his arms and carried her straight toward the master bedroom.

Marina gasped in shock, stammering frantically, "Wait! I—I want to take a shower first!"

He pressed a burning kiss to her forehead, his voice thick with lust. "We'll shower together."

...

By the time they finally stumbled out of the bathroom, Marina's legs were practically giving out. When Carson laid her gently onto the mattress, she was trembling so much she didn't even know what to do with her hands.

He kissed her softly, trying to ease her panic. "Don't be afraid. It's not going to be as scary as you think. I'm going to be gentle."

"Who said I was afraid?" she fired back, feigning a bravado she absolutely didn't feel as she bravely wrapped her arms around his neck.

He was true to his word, acting with far more tenderness than their chaotic encounter back at the Midnight Bar. Every touch was painstakingly deliberate. He was ruthlessly reigning in his overwhelming hunger, desperate to ensure her first real experience was perfect.

"You're not allowed to call stop this time," he murmured, lacing his fingers through hers and pinning her wrists to the bed. A dangerous, torrential storm raged in his pitch-black eyes. "And I'm not giving you another chance to run."

"Where's the protection you bought?" she asked, her voice quivering.

He kissed her deeply, swallowing her gasps. "We don't need it these next couple of days."

Her luminous skin flushed a gorgeous, feverish pink beneath his scorching touch. Her stunning eyes were heavy and misty, her lips bruised and alluring like crushed rose petals. The natural confidence in her voice had completely fractured into a helpless tremble.

"Carson, turn off the light!"

He hovered over her, grazing his lips against her jaw. "Why? Don't you want to look at me?"

"Turn it off!" she insisted stubbornly.

Carson let out a heavy, ragged exhale and reached out to kill the switch.

The room instantly plunged into absolute darkness, but the undeniable electricity between them only intensified. As her eyes adjusted, the sharp angles of his face slowly materialized in the shadows. Staring up into his deep, predatory gaze, she could see her own reflection trapped within it. He never once looked away, holding onto her with a grounding strength. Every breath he took felt like a church bell echoing in a silent valley—steady, commanding, and resonating straight through the darkness to strike her very soul.
